Action Day

Action Day is a joint venture between the First Responders Foundation and the Omaha Police Department and is a day filled with action and learning for kids!

There will be police cruisers and fire trucks, a “Jaws of Life” demonstration, bomb robot demonstration, ABLE 1 helicopter, K9 police dog, coloring station, and more! Plus you will learn about fingerprinting, crime scene investigations, crime prevention, emergency preparedness, bicycle safety, and fire safety.

For anyone interested in first responder action, this is the place to see it, touch it and become a part of it! Kids can dress up as their favorite first responder hero and take home a picture of them dressed up.

Action Day will take place at the Public Safety Training Center just 2 miles west of I-680 and the Irvington exit.

Have a Scout? Scouts can earn their Crime Prevention Badges and see up close and personal how much the police and fire departments operate in action!

When: Saturday, September 30
Time: 9am-1pm
Where: Public Safety Training Center just 2 miles west of I-680 and the Irvington exit.
