The Second Annual Guns and Hoses Racing at I-80 Speedway Police vs. Fire event has been set for Friday, July 3rd. This family-friendly event will pit law enforcement again firefighters to see who can handle a race car with the most precision!  The event will take place during intermission of the I-80 Speedway Midwest Madness Tour featuring NASCAR Sanc. SLMs and IMCA Sanc. Modifieds, Sport Mods, & Stock Cars.  The featured racing program begins at 7:00 pm. with Guns N Hoses taking place during intermission.

How Guns and Hoses Racing at I-80 Speedway Works?

This will be a bump & run race format this year.  One car will be chosen at random to “bump” the rear bumper of a competitor of their choosing and they will run two laps head to head.  The loser is out, and the winner bumps another car for another two-lap race.  The driver who survives to the end is crowned the champion.

Who will take home the gold?  Police or Fire?

Don’t miss this family fun event that also supports the First Responders Foundation.  There will be a 50/50 raffle with the proceeds going to the Foundation to help continue supporting first responders.
